The day spa first opened its doors in 2008, and it’s made its home conveniently and centrally located in Ballito.
Since we opened our doors, we have remained true to our core principles, which are to give top-of-the-range treatments and ensure the ultimate relaxing experience.

About the owner
Karen Landman is a Health & Wellness coach, educator and International Image Consultant.
Karen is also the owner of Simply Models, KZN. Simply Models introduces a modern day modelling and finishing school with a flair for fun, fashion, poise and a touch of royalty.
Integrating Karen’s knowledge of how to coach and inspire those around her, with the knowledge and skills of the qualified therapists at the day spa, makes for the perfect combination to ensure each and every client is well looked after.
Karen was crowned Mrs Durban 2012/2013 and Mrs Out of Africa during 2015. Karen loves to work with ladies and girls of all ages using her experience in the beauty industry to groom and build confidence.
Karen won the Best of the Best award for local Ballito businesses in the service industry in 2015, and also took part in the Ilembe Chamber Entrepeneur competition in the same year.
Karen received the trophy for Youth Development in 2016, which was awarded to her by MS Zuma at the Youth Achievers awards in Durban.
Karen was received a Certificate for the Margaret Hirsch Business Woman of the Month award during 2017.
By using her Business Skills and Passion for empowering others, as well as her caring nature, she strives to ensure that Secrets Health, Beauty and Day spa gives each client an experience to leave them feeling pampered and spoiled.
